Coronavirus: Ensuring the ability to deliver

Dear Sir or Madam,

due to the spreading of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) in Europe, we are receiving more and more inquiries regarding our ability to deliver. We would like to inform you that currently our ability to deliver is not affected due to the Coronavirus. With this letter, we are merely fulfilling our duty of care to inform you in time.

Although such unforeseen events of force majeure are naturally beyond any control, the following preventive measures have already been taken to avoid or minimize any possible negative impact of the worldwide virus infection on our ability to supply:

• Screening our entire supply chain for suppliers in critical regions
• Identification of potentially affected suppliers with production and delivery difficulties or backlogs
• Increasing stock levels of critical items - if this is possible in the short term
• Daily review and reassessment of the situation

We are aware of the seriousness of the current situation and the possible consequences for our customers. To date, however, there has been no specific impact on delivery or lead times of specific orders. We are in constant contact with our suppliers and are monitoring the situation closely. Should the situation change, we will inform our customers and business partners directly and immediately.

We would be grateful if you would also bring this communication to the attention of your management.
