Plastics can be processed in many different ways. Projects include a start and an end. Processes run purposefully or not. It is the passion of those people responsible that brings the potentials which are the basis for outstanding products, their manufacturing technologies and last but not least for the success of the company. We show you which products and processes can be created by the passion of our employees.
History / Milestones
EKT - Passion for plastics. Since its foundation in 2005, the name EKT GmbH & Co. KG stands for quality and precision. Since 2010, EKT GmbH & Co. KG as a manufacturer of thermoplastic precision parts, modules and systems has been based in Bad Salzuflen, North Rhine-Westphalia. Since 2017, EKT CZ k.s. has also been active at the Litovel site in the Czech Republic with a comparable product range, primarily for the household appliance industry.
Foundation of the EKT
Foundation of EKT GmbH & Co. KG at the location Potsdamer Straße in Bielefeld with a total area of approx. 4.000 m² and 67 employees.
Relocation of the EKT
Relocation of the EKT GmbH & Co. KG due to a necessary production and warehouse expansion to Schelpmilser Weg in Bielefeld with a total area of 5,500 m².
Implementation of a new system
In addition to the existing quality management system according to DIN EN ISO 9001, an environmental management system according to DIN EN ISO 14001 is introduced at the Bad Salzuflen site.
EKT relocates again
Move into a newly built production and warehouse site in Röntgenstraße in Bad Salzuflen with a total area of approx. 7,800 m². About 200 invited guests celebrate the new location at an inauguration ceremony. The EKT GmbH & Co. KG employs more than 80 people at this time.

New logo
Redesign of the corporate design with a new company logo.
Expansion Bad Salzuflen
Completion of the expansion (2nd expansion stage) of the production site in Bad Salzuflen by more than 3,200 m² of production and storage space, EKT GmbH & Co. employs more than 160 people at this time.
EKT abroad
With the foundation of EKT CZ k.s. as a production company in the Czech Republic, the course is set for the internationalization of the EKT Group. From the first production site abroad, mainly customers in local proximity to the Czech production site are to be supplied.
Implementation of a new system
In addition to the existing quality and environmental management system, an energy management system according to ISO 50001 is introduced at the Bad Salzuflen site.
Start of production in the Czech Republic
Move into a newly built production and warehouse site in Litovel/CZ for the Czech EKT CZ k.s. with a total area of approx. 4,500 m², start of production with 28 employees.
Milestone employee CZ
EKT CZ k.s. in Litovel/CZ is pleased to welcome its 50th employee.
Extension at the Bad Salzuflen site
Inauguration of a new social and administrative wing as an extension of the company premises at the site of EKT GmbH & Co. KG in Bad Salzuflen.

As a result of a change of name, the company name is changed to EKT GmbH & Co. KG.
